Felker W. Ward III

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Felker W. Ward, III is both President & CEO of FWW Management, Inc. and Managing Partner of Trans-Air Concessions, LLC. Felker’s business mission is to identify, propose and operate fresh and innovative local and national retail brands in airports. He has extensive experience in growing these companies and has worked in several airports across the country.

In 1993, he launched his career with a position as a Concourse Manager in LAX working for Concessions International, operating 11 Food and Beverage units throughout the terminal. To support his work, he completed a 3-month management training program. He remained at LAX until the end of 1994 when he was transferred to Seattle as an Operations Manager in Sea-Tac for Concessions International. The operation in Seattle included 3 Gift and News locations, 3 Seattle’s Best Coffee locations, 2 Cafeteria Style locations, 2 Burger Kings, and several full-service bars. In both Los Angeles and Seattle, Felker was directly involved with hiring, terminations, scheduling, ordering, inventory control, business development, bank and cash reconciliation, conflict resolution, airport management relationship cultivation, and catering.

In 1998, Felker was promoted to the corporate office in Atlanta to work in business development as Director of Special Projects. He was involved with several projects in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, including the development of Houlihan’s (Atrium), Atlanta Bread Company, Wall Street Deli, and the Miller Lite Racing Lounge. He was directly responsible for the development of The Budweiser Brewhouse Smoking Lounge (Concourse A), Sweetwater 420 Grill/ Bar, Charley’s Grilled Subs, Sam Adams Grill/Bar’s, and more. He also oversaw expansion in Seattle, Denver, and Portland.

When Felker W. Ward, Jr., Felker’s father and one of 3 principals in Concessions International, sold majority control of the company in 2001, Felker resigned to pursue other opportunities. He joined Georgia-Pacific Corporation (“GP”) in 2001 as a Senior Business Analyst in the Packaging Division. He was responsible for analyzing over half of GP’s 65 US box plants and 2 paper mills that supplied those plants. In 2003, Felker was promoted to National Sales Account Executive for the Packaging Division, where he was responsible for developing both local and national box sales as well as for a system to track Reusable Plastic Containers. He also worked on special projects for the President of his Division and the CEO of the company.

In 2006, Felker resigned from GP to pursue his dream of entrepreneurship and launched Trans-Air Concessions, LLC in partnership with his father. Trans-Air is a Georgia and Virginia Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (“ACDBE”)-certified airport concessions firm that purchased 2 airport concessions units, the USS Norfolk (Bar/Grill) and Freshens, and operated them until 2011. Trans-Air Concessions currently operates 3 News and Gift stores (branded as “Atlanta Business Chronicle”) and is partnered with The Hudson Group in 20+ other units in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Trans-Air is also currently a minority partner in HSTA, a retail contract in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

FWW Management, Inc. (also co-owned by Felker and his father) was formed in 2010 and currently operates in the new Maynard Jackson International Terminal (Concourse F) in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and on Concourses E. FWW Management is a certified ACDBE firm in Georgia and Colorado and an ACDBE partner with Duty-Free Americas (“DFA”). The operation has over 190 employees, 2 large Duty-Free Retail locations (both locations are over 8300 SF), and 4 Luxury Boutique locations that feature Coach, Michael Kors and Mont Blanc. FWW Management and DFA started operating in 2012. FWW also operates 3 News and Gift stores (branded “World News & Gifts) and a Caribou Coffee in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Felker is a distinguished member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and Board Member of the Fulton County Commission Wolf Creek Amphitheater Advisory Board. Felker holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management from Mercer University, although the majority of his undergraduate experience was at Morehouse College. Felker is a Georgia resident.

Tim Howard

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Tim Howard, EPS has been offering clients first-class security protection services for 19 years. He founded Executive Protection Agencies, LLC (“EPA Security”) in 2001, one of only a few African American owned security companies in the U.S. Starting with a staff of only 2 security professionals and no clients, his Atlanta-based company quickly grew into the go-to agency for security protection that it is today by consistently providing great service. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EPA Security, Tim now manages a staff of over 100 security professionals and dozens of recurring and new clients. He is also Chief Financial Officer of EPA’s sister company, On-Site Surveillance, which offers customers first-class surveillance products for their homes, businesses, and construction sites.

As CEO of EPA Security, Tim oversees daily operations and has continued to add new service offerings to the company’s roster in order to build a one-stop-shop for all security needs. From self-defense to personal protection, EPA Security provides protection products and services for homes and businesses, special events, government agencies, families and individuals, corporate executives, and many high-profile entertainers and athletes.

In 2007, Tim grew EPA Security by conceptualizing and managing the addition of a Security Academy, the first of its kind in Georgia. He teamed up with the International Academy of Executive Protection Agents (“IAEPA”) and Law Enforcement & Security Specialist Private Training L.E.S.S., which provides education and training to aspiring security professionals who wish to become a part of the multi-billion dollar security protection industry. In 2010, Tim facilitated the company’s business market expansion by establishing offices in Southern California and Miami, Florida. EPA Security’s first Miami project was providing security for various Superbowl XLIV events and celebrities.

Previously, Tim was Chief Financial Officer for Executive Protection Authorities, LLC, a security firm servicing the Atlanta metropolitan area where he managed all accounting, financial reporting, and payroll systems for the company. He also grew the company, increasing revenue by securing new client contracts. Before that, he was a Clayton County Probation Officer.

Tim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida A & M University (1995). An active security professional himself, he is a certified Executive Protection Specialist (“EPS”) and Private Detective and has several other certifications including Georgia State Arms, Basic O.C. (Pepper Spray), Taser and Stun Gun, Handcuffing and Restraints, and First Aid Certified. Tim is a resident of Georgia.
